Won't work, ask your subs doctor for a plan b. You probably should have been on subutex if you needed surgery, but most people either don't know, or are too scared to let anyone know they are on subs and need surgery. There supposedly is a way to get some type of pain meds thru the subs, but no one even hints of it. See if your doc knows or will find out. Best of luck, Pattishan.

For me, it actually worked when I had to take some Oxy while I was taking Sub. My back pain got to be too much and it was either not be able to work and stay home or take some and see if it works so I tried it and I didnt get the euphoria that Id normally get without the sub but it did help me with pain relief. So it may work for you or it may not. Its not supposed to work because the Sub is supposed to block it but for me it only blocked part of it. It still helped some with pain relief. It allowed me to still get up and go to work. Just whatever you do, dont stop taking your Subs and then take Vicodin and then start back on Subs too fast or you will definitely have precipitated withdrawal and thats truly a living hell.
