liz3518Please help. I stopped taking sub after weaning down to 1/2-1/4 sublingual because I developed severe back pain due to scoliosis, arthritis, and herniated discs so I could take Tylenol 3 for the pain.
It's been 3 days since I stopped the sub, and I feel horrible. Shouldn't the codiene in Ty 3 stop the suboxine withdraw?

The codeine is a much weaker opiate and the Suboxone is preventing the codeine from working. It might be another couple of days before the Suboxone has left your system enough for the codeine to work. It will get better soon, but you are gonna have to hang in there.

This is correct. Buprenorphine has a much higher affinity for the mu opiate receptor site. Laurie is correct. Be patient. Give it another day. I am surprised u r already feeling sub withdrawal. It usually takes around 4-5 days due to its long half life. U will probably feel better tomorrow.
