You are comparing apples to oranges. If this question is about muscle relaxants then you should be taking the Flexeril. If you are having panic attacks or anxiety that are brought on by having muscle spasm then you should take the Xanax for the panic or anxiety attack. If you are taking the Xanax for muscle spasms then you are taking the wrong medication and it is not approved by the FDA for this indication.
If you are subject to drug testing you will need to report the usage of Xanax if you are using it.
