I have been on 25mg of Zoloft for 1 wk, then 50mg for 2 wks. Have had side-effects that have not been pleasant. My PDoc changed me Celexa yesterday, 20mg/day for 1 week, then 40mg/d. He told me to decrease Zoloft to 25mg/day for 1 week while letting the Celexa take effect. However, the side-effects of Zoloft even at 25 mg are very unpleasant. Any problem with stopping the Zoloft completely since I have been on such a small dose for such a short time?

Hi dendoc. The celexa should help and ease the way you're feeling at the moment.I think you'll be fine. You might still feel the way you are, but it should abate itself shortly. Hope that the celexa, helps you. I was on both. celexa being the last one. I found that it tired me out, and thats the reason, I no longer take. Long tale short, I now use paxil. best to you, have a goodday.
