St. John's Wort - how long and how regular till any effect can be expected?

SSRIs don't work until taken, regularly, for a while (generally at least two weeks). Is this true for St John's Wort too?

None of the articles I've read are very conclusive, but it appears to take about 4 to 6 weeks before you see an effect. So yes, it is somewhat like the SSRI's where it doesn't work immediately.
