My son recently switched from Metroprolol to Sotalol for his heart condition and since the switch has experienced an odd smell on his breath (almost smells like mothballs). He doesn't experience any metalic or other "tastes" in his mouth. He has a very good dental hygiene habit with NO cavities at 16yrs old. Haven't seen this issue addressed in reading side effects for this medication. Anyone else???
