Soreness of the tongue after taking ondansetron?

Could the soreness be due to swelling of the tongue? If there is swelling please see your doctor immediately, as it is a serious side effect of ondansetron. Just plain soreness of the tongue is not stated as a known side effect.

A very close family member takes ondansetron and hasn't ever said that they have soreness of the tongue.

All the best.
