mcsc001, Are you in withdrawals after only six hours? If so, I'd say you must be highly addicted to opiates.
I am sorry to hear about the condition you find yourself in. Yet, getting off of Perc's may be a good thing for you. Although the withdrawal is hell.
There is always the Suboxone route, if the WD is too much for you.
Many people have kicked opiate dependence on Suboxone...
You'll get loads of answers to your question, just hang in there. The great people here at drugs.com will come to your rescue, just be patient.
In the mean time, please google The Thomas Recipe, for OTC meds that you will need until you get your prescription filled.
I wish you the best,

Boy do I know how you feel!! Do as sweetlemon suggested and look up the Thomas Recipe. He has many good suggestions on opiate withdrawal. Do you have any benzos available? If so take a few to calm you down. The best thing you can do is call your doc and set up an emergency visit. If you can't wait that long, go to the emergency room. You have been on oxy's for way too long and have built up a tolerance. You need an extended release pain med like MS Contin, Fentynal, etc. Then use the oxy's for break through pain. You have obvious, severe, chronic pain. You must be honest with your doc and tell him what's going on. If you have been with the same doc for a while, they should understand why you are going through your meds so fast. Are you seeing a pain specialist or a PCP? If you have a regular doc, ask to be referred to a pain specialist. Be honest, are you wanting off the meds or are you in severe pain? This info will depend on the type of help people can offer.
Hang in there and call your doc asap.
