Just wondering if this is the same for all I have been taking soma for at least 7yrs. around the clock and im wondering because I have such a high tolerance is that why it only works about 30min. then im taking more? Is it the same for anyone else how long does it last? the muscle relaxation.

it sounds as though you have developed a tolerance to the soma which is very common with muscle relaxants, pain meds, etc. i recommend that you have your physician re-evaluate you & change you to a different muscle relaxant, or he may simply increase your dosage (example if you're taking the 250 mg. tab he may want to try you on the 350 mg. tab), but more than likely will try you on something new. it can damage your liver & kidneys by taking the soma more often. you'll probably respond really well to a new med.
