Does anyone else find 37.5mg of Effexor XR a good dose for social anxiety..I find the 75mg XR makes me feel keyed up

Hi, personally i take a different medication for this reason, but Effexor is a good medication, and works well to treat anxiety. 37.5mg is a low dose, but that doesn't mean it won't be effective. My parents take a low dose antidepressant and that works well for them (Citalopram 10mg). You might find that if you start on the 37.5mg dose and maintain this for a while, you could graduate to the 75mg dose. See how you go. Can i just check, are you taking a 37.5mg XR tablet, or are you splitting the 75mg XR? Splitting an extended release tablet can be dangerous
