Cefadroxil is in a group of drugs called cephalosporin antibiotics. It works by fighting bacteria in your body.
Cefadroxil is used to treat many different types of infections caused by bacteria, and can help treat skin infections. However, only use it if your doctor has seen you and prescribed this medicine for the particular infection you have. Some skin infections may need stronger/different antibiotics.
