I wanted to let everyone know I have received my surgery date for my stomach pacemaker!!! The surgeon called and everything is set at this point for Friday, November 18, at 730am. I cant believe it is finally going to happen. I want to thank all of you so very much for all the love, encouragement and support you have given me during this difficult time. It means more than I could ever put into words! Obviously I will be away from the board during that time but there are a couple of folks who will keep you all posted on how Im doing. I couldnt have made it this far without my DC family's love.
In peace,
Teresa

Dear Tee,
what a sweet relief! I know you are feeling SO much better now for getting this moving. And, what a great time slot! You will have your surgeon fresh and rested, most likely first surgery of the day.
Please DO have someone keep us posted Teresa! We will want to know how you are doing!!
(I don't have my calendar in front of me... is that the Friday after Thanksgiving or before?) I was hoping you will still get to enjoy your holiday fixins'. But, hey..you are getting your tummy better, so you WILL be enjoying your holday, yes?
Big hugs to you, Sweet Teresa!

I haven't followed your posts but I read your joy in something that might help you and that was great with my morning coffee. Yes, we are a good family here with support, compassion and care so keep us posted and GOOD LUCK with your procedure. I am getting the surgery I wanted on Nov 3rd and I know surgery can be scary but at least you know the end results will justify the fears when you are feeling better and that is what I am looking at now. I am very thankful to this board for putting up with my bad pain days but because of this board, I got through it with support and smiles from people I did not know but showed sincere concern, care and compassion and for that, my state of mind is stronger and healthier so thank you all also.
