casaterryI think this is too low as I feel so tired and fall asleep all the time. My pulse however is much higher than usual 103 it used to be 75 on the Sectral. Should I still take this new medication. My doctor thinks it is better for congestive heart failure than Sectral. However I don't feel right and maybe its just not for me... any answers
Since starting carvedilol my pressure has dropped from 130/70 on Sectral, to 100/49 on Carvedilol?

You should follow the advice of your doctor and continue with the Carvedilol.
Both medicines are beta blockers and work in similar ways but Carvedilol has been shown to be more effective in treating stable heart failure.
Sometimes it can take a month or so for your body to adjust to the new medication. Give it a little longer and if you still don't feel right see your doctor.
