I had to use anti gas drops on my daughter when she was 2 months old and it was fine. If the doctor says it is ok, it is ok and you said the doctor recommeded it. My pediatrician said that newborns stomachs are still developing for awhile after they are born and while they were in utero, the nourishment was processed by the mothers body first and that is why they sometimes have gas, they are getting used to formula or breast milk. If you are breast feeding, try to not eat foods that cause alot of gas. If not, and the gas keeps up, mention it at the 2 month checkup and they might switch the formula.
