I also have a burn only mine is on the left thigh. I use both silverdene & Zytrec with no problems. However, it will not I'm afraid take away the itching. It may relieve it a little bit. To be honest itching is a great sign it means that the silverdene is doing it's job. You should be seeing some improvement, that it is getting better. Althrough, you may not be able to see it your self, Your skin around the area maybe red, but this also is normel. Be very care with the silverdene as it is used to debrided the wound & if you get it on the healed skin or the skin that has already healed it may cause that skin to break down,also. Hope that this helps.
