I started to have contractions and the doctor put me on Brethine when I was 4 months preg. This was 22 yrs ago. For many years since giving birth, I have had heart problems. Nothing bad, MVP and Tricuspid valve. As time has gon on, I now am having more heart problems (being tested for pulmonary hypertension at this time) and tricuspid valve with leaking). I am only 51 yrs old and my child has been ADHD his whole life. Is my heart problems a long term side effect from taking the brethine??
