Side Effect - Has anyone had any problems with Actoplus Met. Was just taken off of Avandament?

According to clinical trials, the most common side effects caused by Actoplus Met are:
Upper respiratory tract infections (similar to the common cold or flu) -- in up to 13.5 percent of people
Swelling or fluid retention (edema) of the lower leg or ankles -- up to 11.3 percent
Weight gain -- up to 6.7 percent (see Actoplus Met and Weight Gain)
Diarrhea -- up to 5.8 percent
Nausea -- up to 5.8 percent
Urinary tract infections (UTI), including bladder infections -- up to 5.8 percent
Dizziness -- up to 5.4 percent
Headache -- up to 5.3 percent
Sinus infection or irritation -- up to 5 percent.

If you are taking about actos and avandia--- I was given both too, They are the same as far as fluid retention is concerned. Go on line and check out the possible side affects of both and you will see what I am saying. Talk to your Dr. and tell him this is not acceptable and check any new meds he gives you. I gained 45lbs in no time--- all fluid retention upon stopping the fluid came off quickley.
