Side Effect - Does alcohol stop azithromycin from working?

I had a one day dose azithromycin 2 pills, Is it okay to drink alcohol a few days later?

Is it safe to drink alcohol while on a M-W-F regimen of Rifampin, Ethambutol and Azithromycin?

I'm wondering if it is ok to drink on a Saturday or Sunday since I take the meds on Mon, Wed, Fri only. I have Mycobacteria Avium Complex (MAC).

Rifampin, Ethambutol, and Azithromycin use Mon-Wed-Fri. Is alcohol use on Saturday safe?
