I had 2 total disc replacements in my neck between c3-c4 and c4-c5 and I am still experiencing pain do to nerves and they gave me pregabalin but I haven't started taking it yet because I keep hearing that it effects your short term memory so I was wondering how bad does it affect it

Hi Caddy!
I've been taking it for over a year and I have not had any problems with memory, atleast not that I remember having (Just kidding)
I think it is a great medication and the only problem I had was at first it made my quite tired but I got over it in less than 2 weeks. I guess that also depends on the dose... I currently take 200mg daily and have no problems.
I would definitely give it a try! Good luck to you!

I also take Lyrica, & altho' it did give me some minor side effects, the difference in the amount of pain I was in, & not as bad on the Lyrica, I vote to use it. I haven't had any short term memory loss due to this drug. Everyone reacts differently to every drug. The only way to know is to try it. I wish you well... Mary632009
