Cetirizine can be taken at any time of the day. In most people it is non-sedating, however, some people may find it to be sedating. Maybe for the first dose take it in the evening and if you are drowsy you could go to bed, and this would also tell you that cetirizine makes you sleppy.
It can be taken with or without food.
