I'm a very active person with allergy related asthma. My doctor has prescribed singulair and advair about a month ago. I have been taking both of them daily. I felt great for the first couple of days but after about two weeks I developed shin splints that will not go away.
Is there any chance that they're somehow related to the singulair or advair?

Is there anything you can think of that may have caused the shin splints. Are you a walker or a runner?
General muscle aches and pains are potential side effects of both Advair and Singulair.
If the "shin splints" continue you should see your doctor to determine the cause.
