Sertraline hydrochloride (Zoloft) is a prescription medication used to treat a number of conditions within the brain.
This medication is licensed to treat a number of conditions, including:
* Depression (also known as major depression or clinical depression)
* Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
* Panic disorder
* Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
* Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD)
* Social anxiety disorder (social phobia).
Sumatriptan succinate (Imitrex, Sumavel) is a prescription medication that is used to treat migraine headaches. The medicine will not help prevent migraines, but it can help treat a migraine that is already occurring. The injectable form is also approved for the acute treatment of cluster headaches.
Both meds are different & used for different ailments.
