For some people it is best to taper off the Seroquel. I would follow your doctor's lead and take the 50mgs if you feel any withdrawal symptoms from the Seroquel such as nausea, diarrhea or insomnia. Going to have to give it time. Might take upwards of a week to adjust.

Hello cuddlejunkie121. Seldom will a person stop abruptly when on Seroquel especially given your particular dose and the 4 years of being on it. Seroquel, is a drug that requires a taper. The amount of people abruptly stopping it are less than 1%. Best of wishes,pledge

Thanks... I took it last night with the trazodone and slept find so I am going to keep doing that for as long as I have the 50 mg pills hopefully by then I will be almost off of it.
