Casodex - can I take vitamin supplements such as Zipfizz while taking Casodex?

I just turned 84. I had seeds and radiation in 2001. I had 26.0 going in. It was low for five years. I kept watchful waiting. It wound up as 17.0. Did another biopsy still had cancer. I went on casodex 50 mg. Nothing left for me but casodex. Normaly they put you on homones. But, casodex works for a lot of men. Reduced it to 0.01. Since five years has gone by it is at 0.60

Side affects I'm turning into female features. But, the medicine holds the cancer at bay in the prostate. Prostate canced feeds on testerone. t weakens your bones. Osteporosis. but, I still alive.Started out at $540 for 30 days (no Insurance) I've benn getting it for $8 for 30 at the VA. Any other question you may have write back to me.

It would be a good idea to ask your pharmacist, and your doctor should know all the medications you take, including over the counter meds.
