Scabies - What can I use over the counter, if I have already been treated with elimite?

Please see link below. These are the medicines available to treat scabies. Eurax and Stromectol are prescription medicines. Only permethrin (which is the medicine in Elimite) containing products are available over the counter.

Doctors always say when one has scabies, "DON'T SCRATCH", easier said then done. What all can be bad results from scratching??
