missmandicould u please tell me does this cause weight gain or weight loss? i have tried EVERYTHING! Cymbalta made me more depressed and prozac is like synthetic cocaine, sure i was up and at it but I have high anxiety and it seemed i couldn't leave my home. I do not want to gain any weight and i wasnt to feel like a "normal" person that is not a depressed hermitt... do you think this is going to help? i have fb and lupus.Severe depression and anxiety including black out panic attack which i take klonopin for.

Savella can cause weight loss, but that's a more less frequent side effect. Here are some of the more frequent side effects that come with Savella: Anorexia, Constipation, Dizziness, Flushing, Headache Disorder, Hyperhidrosis, Hypertension, Insomnia, Nausea, Palpitations, Tachyarrhythmia, Vomiting and Xerostomia. All medications have side effDcts. Have you ever tried Effexor or Effexor XR? That's what I'm currently taking without many side effects except for Anxiety which I have with the depression but I take Xanax for that which works great. I hope this helps. Happy Holidays!
