It depends on the wound. Did your Dr not give you any insructions on how to use Santyl? Santyl is an enzymatic debriding ointment. It helps to clear dead tissue from a wound. In my experience it is usually changed daily but it may depend on what kind of other dressings are being used. You should speak to your Dr about how to use this medication.
