Kleigha... sulfonamides in medication & believe I have reaction to sulfur & salicylic acid in soaps. All i try makes matters worse & I give it time to work. I've been fighting it for years, recently to tie in salicylic acid. Making appt with allergist & dermatologist. In mean time... Is there a soap that does NOT contain sulfur & salicylic acid?

I checked it out, and if you are prone to breakouts it seems most cleansers have either Benzoyl Peroxide or Salicylic acid in them!
One product I found was Desert Essence Tea Tree Oil Cleanser, which sounds like it may make you break out, yet DOES NOT.

Hi Sweetiemon, Thanks for looking into this. It's so good to have another set of eyes/brainwaves checking into this.I'll look into the Desert Essence Tea Tree Oil Cleanser. I once made tea tree oil with glycerin as a substitute to topical otc antibiotic ointment (which contains sulfur). The mixture must have been too strong tho. I'll also check out the Clinique's, I used Almay when my problems began and if I recall, don't think they list ingredients, but I will recheck. Thanks again.
