I have had 4 heart blockages, have asthma, bronchitis,1 blood clot in lungs and 2 in left leg..all at different stages in my life with the exception of the 4 heart blockages... I had those at one time and I have stents. Which medication would be the best for me? I am currently on Gammaguard IV every 30 days and have side effects.

They are very similar. The main difference is the purification & filtration during the production of the medicine. The other minor differences are the pH (4.0-4.5 vs. 4.6-5.1) & IgA content (46μg/mL vs. 37 μg/mL). You could ask your doctor to try Octagam. Patients seem to react better on the Octagam when they have had issues with the Gammaguard. There are 6 other immune globulin products if the above medicines do not help you. Hope this helps.
