I've tried both the metrocream/gel and the burning sensation is awful, it's also causing the red patches created by the cream/gel are raised significantly. Is there anything I can use for the burning? I've read that emu oil helps. I have rosy cheeks w/o the acne part and the pronounced blood vessels. And yes, I have fair/freckled skin that's always blushed and has been sunburned a lot in my teens. The other catch is that I can't use herbal items due to a fibromyalgia treatment. I can use oatmeal products though. I really just want the burning/raised patches to simmer down until I can get to the doctor. Thank you kindly. :)
