I have been thru a few meds for my MS associated fatigue. I was just prescribed ritalin LA on a daily basis but I wondered if it is long acting can I take this on an 'as needed' basis rather than daily? thank you

Hello raquel ayra. Ritalin should be taken as directed, meaning simply if you were prescribed a dose, for example 3 times a day, you'd be better of taking it that way. Most all drugs, do thier best when taken on a regular basis forthey are meant to be taken that way, for it (ritalin) is a medication. Theraputically also, drugs do thier best when taken on a scheduled basis. You might ask your doctor or pharmacist to confirm, or get thier opinion. Best of wishes to you and good health,[pledge
