Risedronate is safe in pregnancy or not and how?

The safety of Risedronate in pregnancy is uncertain. Animal studies suggest there may be a risk and human studies do not exist. Some women take risedronate where there is a clear need.
You will need to discuss the risks and benefits of taking risedronate during pregnancy with your doctor.
