Bacterial vaginitis is a condition caused by of an overgrowth of normal vaginal bacteria.
The main symptoms are vaginal discharge (usually thin and greyish white) and a fishy odour. Examining the discharge under microscope will distinguish if it is anything else eg. Yeast infection or a sexually transmitted disease.
You should consult your health professional if you are worried.
That's the same thing that happen to me after using the metrogel the doctor said it's but gave me medicine for a yeast infection is it very itchy

no i knew that is what it was, and i never had discharge, just a starnge odor. i started using the medicine and discovered white clumpy toilet paper like discharge. I did some more research after posing this questions and it turns out this is normal for this medication and should stop a few days after usage ceases. good to know!
