I have RSD and was diagnosed by a Pain Managemeny Physician but I agree that a neurologist would also be a good option. The burning and th changing of color in your skin are both symptons. Good Luck and hope that your problem is something less than RSD. Good Luck

I was finally diagnosed by a orthopedic hand specialist. RSD is a neurological condition, and in such case, a Neurologist should also be able to help you. Make sure ahead of time to ask if they have diagnosed, referred and/or treated RSD/CRPS. I hope you have your answers very soon. Time is very important for RSD. Keep us posted.

Sounds like it is following the same path as my RSD. My nerve conduction study Came back normal to... not a good test for it. Ifmyou need to talk I am here. But most of all I hopeit is not RSD with all my heart I do.

You should see both a pain doc and a nurologist as well as a physical therapist. If you are not sleeping well, that could be the cause of your anxiety attacks and your anger issue. Anxiety attacks can also be casued by blood sugar levels being incorrect. Getting into physical therapy is a must. Get a PT that has experience with rsd and has treated a lot of patients. Getting the range of motion and strength back as soon as possible is a must. Your PT would also help get the pain levels down and the swelling down. Do NOT put ice on the injured area. It can cause the rsd to spread. I have rsd so I am speaking from experience. I personally hope you don't have it. Feel free to friend me if you want to talk. I will keep you in my prayers.
