Hi, Tylenol has been reported to be safe, if the dose taken doesn't exceed 1000mg in a 4 hour period, and 4000mg in a 24 hour period, for adults. It is never recommended to exceed this dose no matter what the reason for use is.

This is a question to ask the Dr who prescribes the coumadin. Acetaminophen is the best bet for pain while on coumadin but it can still affect your INRs and this person is on a high dose of coumadin!! Is he on 7.5 or 75? I have never seen anyone on 75 mg of coumadin!!
