Zyvox, like any medication has side effects. Like some medications some of its side effects and interactions can be severe. My suggestion is to talk to your doctor about what you are afraid of.
You can also look on this site at http://www.drugs.com/zyvox.html, but I caution you that there is a lot of jargon on that page as this drug can do great good and great harm. You have to know how to use it and how to recognize problems. All the more reason to talk to your doctor, or his nurse, and make sure you are doing things correctly.
I am sorry that you have an infection that needs this level of treatment. You are most likely in pain. I wish for no one to be in pain. Please follow your instruction carefully. If you don't understand them, call your doctors nurse.
