Yes, from everything I understand, it is completely fine to fly again. THIS TIME, get up every hour (my mistake that most likely led to DVT/PE). Drink plenty of fluids and avoid caffeine and alcohol while on plane. If you can't get up for some reason, do calf flexes while seated. Also, my doctor said that if the flight is longer than 5 hours, she will prescribe me to lovenox shots and I can take one before departure and one before return flight. Hope this helped!

Have you seen a hematologist? Do you know how or why you got the PEs? Why do feel that you cannot fly? Based on what you say you can fly right now. Make sure you do exercise while you are on the plane. You should talk to the docs about whether you should wear compression socks while you fly and should they be 20-30 mmHg or 30-40 mmHg. You should also ask about getting a supply of Arixtra or Lovenox for use while you travel.
