Propranolol - I was just diagonised with a mild leaking heart valve, my doctor prescribed?

... propanolol,i have'nt started taking it yet and i am worried the side effects any advice?

All medicines have side effects but not everyone experiences them. Your doctor can start you on a low dose and increase slowly while monitoring you for side effects. Side effects of beta blockers (the drug class for propranolol) are usually dose related so your doctor should be able to find an effective dose without unwanted side effects.
