I have recentoy been prescribed propanolol for anxiety. I am planning to take up running and haven't exercised regularly for some time. Will there be a problem? I am a reasonably fit and healthy 42 yr old woman.

Beta blockers slow your heart rate, which can prevent the increase in heart rate that typically occurs with exercise.
Good on you for wanting to to start running. Exercise is important especially if you have anxiety issues. However it would be worth checking with your doctor before you start.
