where can i get my proscriptions filled, nothing else works, without in life is not worth living, i am 68 years old never any side effects.

As you know, it has been taken off the market due to side effects on the heart, I think. I checked Canada and appears that it is not available there either. Not sure about other countries, just be advised it is against the law to get drugs from other countries.
Sorry, I couldn't help you much. What other pain remedies have you tried? Maybe there is an alternative for you.

I totally understand, I have a good friend (2) two be exact who are older than I am but they have used this medication over the years and have had good results with it, apparently no problems. but since it is no longer distributed in the USA, they are left with a problem and that is to find something that would work yet be as close to the same medicine as it was, the one friend in particular had severe back problem, she would take her regular dose of Propoxyene and be able to function, I know its hard to say something will work if you haven't experienced this yourself (but I have) only mine was a stronger pain medication, Just continue to hang in there surely there is something that will work and give you pain relief it's a matter of going through what you have to in order to find that medicine that works, keep looking and let us know, A lot of people are in the same situation. trust me you are not alone. the one person that I speak about is a family friend and she is age 70

this is from a head injury 20 years ago it took 7 years to get the right drug combinations that works and where i funksion normaly. i have tried almost all meds in the last two months. morophine won't work. i have enought proproxy to last about ywo more weeks i need to come up with a replacement. i have a script but can't get it filled the fda didn't demand that it be removed from the market, maker of darvon voulintered to remove it but the generic have not replyed, but the durg stores refuse to get it it is still leagle. alex
I hear your predicament. Maybe if you talk to the doctor again he can recommend something else besides morophine and propoxyphene. What happened with the morophine, it just didn't work? What about tramadol or dilaudid? They are narcotic opoids also though.
the only things i have not tried are oxyctine and methodone, methodone is a moloucule almost the same as proprox. i tried oxycdone it would work for about two hours but no long term relife i would be awake a nite. it was a strong dose. so the other day he gave me a new script for proprox to try to get filled when i take that after about four days i had no pain even if i misted a day, 2 cap morning and 2 caps nite, never had any pain if i quite it would last for about three days then pain. alx

What are your symptoms? Headaches? Have you tried tramadol (ultram)? Just a thought. The oxycontin or oxycodone made me stay awake too.

yes . the pain it all over, bones in head face. headaches. a gray hound bus ddropped on my head from my neck up it was mashto 3 inches thick
my skull exploded eyes out of my head no face left. cut main artery in right half of brain right eye died from lack of blood. all nerves in face were parlized for monthes most nerves grew back over time still blind in right eye, its been 20 years now with meds mostly normol just get tired, and beat down from pain. there is not much meds they have not tried. alex
What about meds like neurontin or lyrica or cymbalta that help with neuropathy? They are not narcotics.
took those for years, no effect like the only two drugs i have not i listed above
that why this is very down subject for me, i am 68, very strong, active, better fisicl shap than most people 50. 6ft, 220lb stay busy to get mind off pair, not much i can't do, i have run out of drug before, after about one month i can hardly get out of bed, or move hands fingers or walk, and i get very depressed because it can be prevented!! more people die of over drinking liouor and die of alathol poison than proprox. the people that work in most government jobs have little common sense. 50.000 people killed car wrecks,
