My heart transplant was 20 years ago. I've had very little rejection over the years but asked for tacrolimus as prograf has become too expensive. Now worried after reading about deaths! I've already suffered with multiple skin cancers for several years now. Will tacrolimus make it worse?

Are you asking if the risk of taking tacrolimus is greater than the risk from taking Prograf?
If I have understood you correctly then the risk is exactly the same as they both contain the same active ingredient - tacrolimus.
Prograf is the brand name and contains the active ingredient tacrolimus.
Generic Prograf is now available and the generic version is called Tacrolimus.
