I have been having problems concieving and was put on Cronine, this was my first month using it. I am wondering if it stops you from having a period?

I am ovulating it's just that my leutal phase is too short. I ovulate around day 18 and then get my period usually on day 28 or sometimes a few days sooner, which doesn't give my egg enough time to inplant so Dr. put be on Ferma to take while I'm on my period and then I have to take Crinine 8 days after I ovulate. I'm just so confused becuase I am always on time with my period and have been taking Crinine for a week now and my period was due yesterday the 9th. My preg test was neg and no sign of period. I called the nurse and she said the Crinine won't stop my period but might delay it a few days. Now its just a waiting game I have to wait another 5 days to take another preg. test if neg then I have to stop the Crinine. But the waiting is killing me. I am so confused not to mention this is going to screw up my cycle.
