Is it illegal to be on pain medication while on probation? Most scripts for lortab come with the directions to take when needed for pain. If anything, it shows you made the meds last and didn't abuse them. As long as you have a script for them, not sure why you would worry? Unlike meds that have to be taken on a strict schedule, "as needed" means just that.

Yep, lortab will show up on a drug test. If you have a prescrip for the drug (get a note from your doctor if need be) , then your probation officer should be ok with it, but be sure to be upfront with your officer and not wait until the results come back to tell him that you have a prescription. Honesty is always the best policy.
PS the third of February is Thursday not Wednesday

Hey I just saw ur question. And my brother was on intense probation and had a script for xanx and it was for like two months ago and the bottle was empty. But the experation date was for next year and he didn't get in trouble. As long as u have a bottle with ur name and the experation date hasn't passes u can't get in trouble hope this helps in the future :)
