The amount you consume is a split dose of 5 ounces (preferred method), the first dose is followed by 5 8 oz. glasses of a clear liquid, and the second dose on the morning of the colonoscopy is followed by 3 8oz. Glasses of liquid.
The taste is surprisingly pleasant, it has a mild lemon taste (not at all salty) - unlike any preps I have previously used. Really, quite doable!

This is my 3rd colonoscopy and just used Prepopik.
By a mile, the BEST & MOST TOLERABLE prep I have ever used!
No salty, gritty taste at all! Tastes like just like orange soda.
My doctor said I could mix the powder with any clear liquid. So, instead of cold water, I mixed it with white cranberry juice, not at all bad!
I have already had 16 of the 40 ozs of the required clear liquid you must drink following the first Prepopik dose.
Hopefully, this prep stays on the market as I would never use any other again!
