Can you hit comment and list which prep you were prescribed or given? It took a couple of hours for me and I know drinking all the water after the prep is nauseating, but it pushes the prep thru. So if you were told to drink a lot of a specific fluid, or water, do it. And most people have to do a second prep at around 4 am, you should be good by then. Once the fluid runs thru tonight, you will be able to sleep and then when you star the second prep, it may happen a bit sooner. I had no cramping or constant need to go to the restroom, once it kicked in, it went pretty fast and then I slept started again and was fine. Please make sure you have someone go with you, so they can talk to the dr after the procedure, get your at home instructions and drive you home. Good luck, it really isn't too bad and I am one to complain, and I have none, other than the taste of the prep. Patti
