was told by a nurse from my obgyn that the doctor said to buy magnesium oxide over the counter for my leg cramps. Was wondering how safe it was and did i need to call back my doctor and ask him personaly, because other website say not to take that medication while pregnant.

my husband is having trouble passing kidney stones & they prescribed pain pills & magnesium oxide. Why is magnesium oxide prescribed?

... probably caused by recent severe diarreah episodes. Problem is I believe the supplement is giving me diarreah. Is that possible?
