Ideally medicines should be stopped around 1 month before conception.
Maxalt has been assigned to FDA pregnancy category C . This means that safety is uncertain. There are no studies in humans and animal studies have revealed issues. Having said this your doctor may decide that there is a clear need for you to continue taking Maxalt. All the best.
