My dog was diagnosed through blood tests. The blood sample had to be sent to a vet lab in San Diego. The veterinarian that diagnosed her was a neurologist. Sadly, my Maggie passed away on May 6, 2011. approximately 3 1/2 after she first became sick. If you want information on how we dealt with her sickness, please feel free to contact me. It was a hard battle trying to keep her life pleasurable but we did succeed. She died from pneumonia which happened very quickly.
