... Only a cup of coffee. Is this considered as not having an empty stomach and I should wait 2 hours after a cup of coffee?
Also, I don't eat 3 meals a day and don't eat dinner at the same time each day. All of this is due to having a very ill husband and having to care for him prevents me from having a "schedule" for eating, etc.
I am having no side effects from taking this med, but I need to know if a cup of coffee or a soft drink comprises having something on my stomach. Thanks for help

Your medicine will work best if you take it on an empty stomach.
If you have been drinking coffee or a soft drink, before or soon after taking Pletal, and the medicine has worked then you are able to continue doing so.
Some foods/drinks may interact with Pletal. In order to avoid this the drug manufacturers recommend taking it on an empty stomach... which sometimes isn't always practical.
