Even thou my children don't show signs, should they take it more than once?

It should say in the directions how to take it. I took it a while back and it seems like I did take it twice. It treats round(pin) worms. Are your kids saying that their rectums itch? That is the symptom they look for to diagnose it. It is really common in the South. Call the Pharmacist or your doctor tomorrow. Not usually an emergency. You should be fine soon. Wash your sheets after your treatment and don't wear clothing that you wore prior to treatment without washing them. Take dog to the vet and get it checked.

It is tape worms..
No, you need different med if it is tape worms. It is more likely it is round worms, or pin worms and yes, if the kids somehow got even one segment of a tapeworm from the dog and ingested it, it will cause and infestation of taper worms sooner or later. Dogs get tape worms when they ingest a flea that has the taper worm larvae inside it, and I am sure if the kids somehow ingested a flea, then that could happen too, but round worm is lots more prevalent and contagious from kid to kid way more easy than each kid getting a tape worm segment in them. Taper worm med is an rx only.
